@Desperado, 看看这些出现156错误的服务器上是否正确安装了 VMware Snapshot Provider 服务，如果没有参照我这里的第二部分重新安装该服务试试。

我用vStorage API的方式也碰到这个问题。
而我的环境有100多台虚拟机啊，大部分虚机备份都出现156错误。

谢谢，前几天vidalia下的tor突然不能用了，原来是自动更新以后，tor变成随系统一起启动了。
